Phone Basics
End-of-Call Options
After receiving a call from or making a call to a phone number that is not in your
Contacts, the phone number and duration of the call are displayed. Press the right
softkey
for
Next
and select
Call Again
to call the number again, or
Send
Message
to send a text message directly to that number.
Tip:
If the number has been saved in your Contacts, press the left softkey
for
Call
to call the number again. If the number has not been saved in your
Contacts, you can press the left softkey
for
Save
.
Note:
The End-of-Call options are not displayed for calls identified as Unknown ID
or Restricted.
Saving a Phone Number
Your phone can store up to 1000 phone numbers. Contacts entries can store up to
a total of five phone numbers, and each entry’s name can contain up to 64
characters. (For more information, see "Adding a New Contact" on page 78.)
To save a number from standby mode:
1. Enter a phone number and press
.
2. Select
New Contact
. If your Contacts list is empty, skip this step and
proceed to step 3.
3. Select the number type (
Mobile
,
Home
,
Work
,
Pager
,
Others
)
using the
navigation key and press
.
4. Enter the
Name
using the keypad.
5. Press the left softkey
for
Done
.
After you have saved the number, the new Contacts entry is displayed.
To find a phone number:
1. Press
for
Menu
.
2. Select
Contacts > Find
.
3. Enter three to four digits of the last four digits of a phone number. (A list
of possible matches is displayed.)
4. Use your navigation key to display the desired entry.
