2) Remove the wire connectors

at the top (heater, bimetal,
Thermistor)

After reclaiming the refrigerant
gas, the pipe can be cut to
remove the evaporator.

4) Remove the Evaporator.
5) When soldering the Evaporator

after replacing it, do the above
in reverse order.
