4-2-8. When the Freezer Lamp does not light up
Note
1. When the Door is open, the Door S/W contact becomes open, and 5v applies to MICOM sensing
the Door Open. And, when 5v is sensed for more than 2 minutes, it sends out the Door Alarm at
intervals of 1 minute for 10 seconds. So, when there is defect in Door S/W, the Door Alarm can
occur at intervals of 1 minute (refer when repairing the unit).
2.The interior lamp operates based on the Door S/W operation.

Replace DOOR S/W

When the Door is open,
voltage output between
CN76 #1 and #2 is over 10v?
Replace PCb
NO
YES
When the Door is open,
voltage output at LED Lamp
PCb terminals is over 10v?
Check Wire Cut,
Check if the output
is DC 12v
YES
Change PCb
Replace LED LAMP PCb

Measure voltage between PCb CN76 #1(Orange)- #2(brown)

Checking Door Switch voltage
- PCb Sensor Check Point : v oltage between IC10 MICOM #57 or
CN30-"6"(Red) and Common PCb GND, v oltage between CN30-
"6"(Red) and PCb GND

* Checking REED S/W
REED S/W operates by the magnetic power of
the magnets attached on Doors.
- Reed S/W magnetized

0 Ω (Door Closed)
- Reed S/W not magnetized
→
∞ Ω (Door Open)
When the power of the magnets are weak or the
Reed S/W location is shifted, it needs replacing.
