Entering Smileys
Smileys can be entered from the keyboard. Smileys are entered
into text messages to communicate feelings such as pleasure,
approval or humor. (Examples: :) , ;) , <3):
Note:
You may also create your own quick text. While in the QUICK TEXT
screen, touch
. Compose a quick text and touch
. Your
new quick text is added to the top of the selection list.
Entering Text using Touch Screen Keypad
Changing Text Input Mode
When using your phone, you often need to enter text, such as
when storing a name in your Contacts List, creating your
personal greeting or scheduling events on your calendar. You can
enter alphanumeric characters by using your phone’s keypad.

In portrait mode, from a screen where you can enter text,
touch the text entry field.

From the onscreen keypad, touch
to change the
Text Input mode.
Example:
