Embedded Server Settings
Embedded Server
Turn on to enable the embedded server. Turn off to delete registered server information.
Turn on the embedded web server for managing devices using the web browser on your PC / mobile device.
When the web server is set to
Client
mode, the registered server address is displayed, along with whether or not the server is
registered, at the bottom of the Help page.
Server Mode
To use this device as a local web server, set it to 'Server'. If you already have a server device nearby, set it as 'Client' to connect
this device to the server.
The embedded web server can be set to either of the following two modes.
•
Server
– When it is set to
Server
mode, you can control devices by accessing the following URL from your PC / mobile device:
https://device-ip:4000
– When accessing for the first time, you should set the initial password before using the server.
– Use the "Register Device" menu to register and control other devices that are set to
Client
mode.

Client
– When it is set to
Client
mode, you can register devices to a supported server.
– If you turn the
Embedded Server
feature off and on again while in
Client
mode, all information is reset and you should
register devices again from the server.

CAUTION: Ensure that all devices and your PC / mobile device are connected to the same local network.
Wi-Fi
Enable or disable the Wi-Fi. Turn on this option to use features that require a Wi-Fi connection.

Device Name
Select or enter a device name.
This name can be shown on network device over the network.
