Although there is a collate selection in the driver, it did not
function in testing. For output to be properly collated, the
collate selection must be made from the Windows print screen
within an application; doing so, however, does not increase
file size.
Scan to e-mail speeds (8-1/2" x 11" originals; black):
1:1 mode: 35.84 originals per minute.
2:2 mode: 7.77 originals, or 15.54 images, per minute.
Scan to e-mail speeds (8-1/2" x 11" originals; color):
1:1 mode: 4.62 originals per minute.
2:2 mode: 1.99 originals, or 3.98 images, per minute.
Fax scanning speed:
The average speed is obtained from scanning into memory
three originals using standard resolution and normal contrast
setting; timing begins when the “start” button is pressed and
continues until the last page exits onto the exit tray.
Fax scanning speed with 4% page coverage original:
2.65 seconds per page.
Fax scanning speed with 12% page coverage original:
2.62 seconds per page.
