This section describes the problems that may occur while the phone is used and the
troubleshooting of the problems. Check the following cases before contacting a service
center. Please, contact the service center for troubles not solved with the following
solutions.
Video screen does not
appear when lifting the
handset or pressing the
Speaker button.

and check if
Call mode is set to Video mode.
- If Camera Off is set, the video screen is not
appeared. In this case, press the
[Camera Off]
button in the standby screen to release the
Camera Off mode.
Speed Call fails

[Dial Mode]
and set the
dial mode as Enbloc. If it Overlap mode was
selected, speed dial numbers are not dialed.
Power is supplied, but
phone fails to boot.
►
- Check all the cables to the phone are
connected properly.
- Check if the adaptor connected to the phone
is the same one as supplied with it (in the box).
- Unplug the adaptor and plug it in about 10
seconds later.
Phone boots but fails to
function
►
- Check if ‘IP conflict’ appears on the phone
(or PC) screen’, which means that another
device uses the same IP address. Contact the
system administrator.
- Check if ‘ID conflict’ appears on the phone
(or PC) screen’, which means that another
device uses the same ID. Contact the system
administrator.
LCD screen shows
nothing during a call

Check if LAN cable and power adaptor are
connected to their corresponding ports of the
phone properly. (Please refer to chapters of
‘Introduction’ and ‘Installation’ in this manual.)
