Getting started
Get to know your device’s layout, keys, icons, screen, and
the basics about working with applications. You can also
learn to customise the device and enter text.
Turn your device on and off
To turn on your device,
Press and hold [

Enter your PIN and select

(if necessary).
Select a language you want and select

Select keyboard languages and select

Select your home time zone and select

Set the time and date and select

To turn off your device, press and hold [ ] and select
Yes
.
Follow all posted warnings and directions from

official personnel when in areas where the use of
wireless devices is restricted, such as aeroplanes
and hospitals.
To use your device's non-network services only,

switch to the flight mode. In Menu mode, select
Settings
→
Flight mode
