Starting the recording mode

Night / Portrait mode

Rotate the mode dial to select a desired mode.

: Use this for still images at night or in other dark conditions

How to use the Wide angle mode ( )

You can select the wide angle mode or normal
angle mode by using this button
1. Select the Wide angle mode by rotating the

mode dial.

2. The screen size will be changed as shown.
3. Point the camera towards the subject and

compose the image by using the LCD monitor.

4. Press the shutter button to capture an image.

When you select the wide angle mode, sub menus of the [SIZE] menu are
changed. For details of the sub menu changes, refer to the table below.
