Install a green / yellow grounding wire:

Please refer to the “Wiring work” for the specification of grounding wire.

ࣕ

When the grounding wire is too short,extend the grounding wire but bind the connection part with
insulation tepe.Extend the ground lead if too short and use the heat-insulated tape to secure the
connection part.
(Do not bury the connection)

ࣕ

Secure the grounding wire in position with staples.

CAUTION

• When the grounding rod is installed in a place where many people pass by,you must fix it firmly.

Carefully check the installation,by measuring the grounding resistance with a ground resistance tester.

ࣕ

If the resistance is above required level,drive the grounding rod deeper into the ground or increase
the number of grounding rods.

Connect the grounding wire to the electrical component box inside of the outdoor unit.

Gas leak tests on the outdoor unit is done initially from the factory, but you must test for gas leakage after
the installation.
