4. SECURITY CONDITIONS
Steps to prevent excessive harmful impact of microwave energy.
•
Failure to comply with the following security measures may cause harmful impact of microwave energy.
•
Do not attempt to activate the microwave with open door, do not attempt to modify the safety latches, and do not try to
insert any objects into the latch holes.
•
Do not put any objects between the microwave oven door and the front of the microwave oven and don’t allow for food
or cleaning agent residue to remain on the sealing coatings. Make sure that the door and the door sealing coatings are
clean. Always clean them with a damp cloth after use and then wipe them with a dry cloth.

ovens or trained by the manufacturer. It is very important that the door is closing properly and that the following compo-
nents are not damaged:
a. Door, door seals and sealing coatings
b. Door hinges (broken or loose)
c. Power supply cable

5. SAFETY MEASURES
Before you start cooking food or liquids in the microwave, check whether the following safety measures are taken.
1.
Do not use metal utensils for cooking in the microwave oven:
•
metal containers
•
cutlery with gold or silver finish
•
skewers, forks, etc.
Reason: they may cause damage to the oven.
2.
Do not heat:
•
tightly closed bottles, jars, containers
•
vacuum-packaged food
Reason: Increased pressure can cause an explosion.
Tips: Remove the lid, pierce the packaging, bag, etc.
For heating food only use packaging intended for use in microwave ovens.
3.
Do not activate an empty microwave oven.
Reason: The walls of the microwave oven can be damaged.
Tip: Always keep a glass of water in the microwave oven. The water will absorb the microwaves in the event the empty
microwave oven is accidentally turned on.
4.
Do not cover the rear ventilation holes with material and/or paper.
Reason: The paper or material could be ignited from hot air blowing from the microwave oven.
5.
Always use gloves when taking out hot food from the microwave oven.
Reason: Some dishes absorb microwaves and heat up and heat is always transferred from the food to the dish. That is why the
dish is hot.
6.
Do not touch the interior walls of the microwave oven.
Reason: The walls of the cooking chamber get hot and may cause burns even once the cooking is finished. Do not allow for
combustible materials to have any contact with any surface inside the microwave oven. First, let the microwave oven cool
down.
7.
In order to reduce the risk of fire inside the microwave oven:
•
Do not store flammable materials in the microwave oven.
