8 Malfunctions
8.1 Troubleshooting
To identify the exact cause for the malfunction and to rectify it, the associated valve must also
be taken into account. Full troubleshooting instructions are listed in the corresponding mount-
ing and operating instructions of the regulator (see documents listed under 'Referenced docu-
mentation' in the 'Safety instructions and measures' section).

Temperature at the
sensor exceeds or
falls below the set
point.
Sensor installed in the wrong location.

Immerse the temperature sensor with its entire

Control thermostat defective
