9.3 Preparation for return ship -
ment
Defective limit switches can be returned to
SAMSON for repair.
Proceed as follows to return devices to
SAMSON:
1. Remove the limit switch (see the 'Remov-
al' section).
2. Send the limit switch to your nearest
SAMSON subsidiary. SAMSON subsid-
iaries are listed on our website at

9.4 Cleaning the housing cover
Incorrect cleaning will damage the housing
cover.
The housing cover is made of Makrolon ®
and will be damaged when cleaned with
abrasive cleaning agents or agents contain-
ing solvents.

Do not rub the housing cover dry.
Î
Do not use any cleaning agents contain-
ing chlorine or alcohol or abrasive
cleaning agents.
Î
Use a non-abrasive, soft cloth for clean -
ing.
9.5 Periodic inspection and
testing of the limit switch
We recommend inspection and testing ac-
cording to Table 9-1 at the minimum.
