Function
The Type 5312-2 Frost Protection Thermostat
is a temperature monitor:
The changeover contact switches when the
temperature at the temperature sensor rises
above the adjusted set point. When the tem-
perature falls below the set point, the
changeover contact automatically switches
back.
The changeover contact responds to a capil-
lary breakage in the same way as when the
temperature falls below the set point.
Temperature
The frost protection thermostat is calibrated
for an ambient temperature of +22 °C.
The switching point falls by 0.08 %/K at
higher ambient temperatures.
The switching point rises at lower ambient
temperatures.
