PROCEDURE FOR INSERTING
THE PRESSING PLATE
IN THE DRUM
NOTE
Follow instructions with care. These operations must be
carried out with the pump at a standstill by competent,
trained personnel.
SHEARING HAZARD
Check all the fittings for connection of the va-
rious components (pump, hose, gun etc.), befo-
re using the appliance.
Avoid approaching too much to the hoist during
lifting and lowering.
Carefully follow the directions below to open the pressing plate
in the drum:
• Open the air supply (
M1
).
• Turn the control lever (
M2
) upward.
Check if there are dents on the drum (M5), as
these could cause the pressing plate (M7) to
lock during descent.
• Remove the cover from the drum by 200 litres (
M5
) to be
used and place it between the clamps (
M6
) on the plate (
M8
).
• Using the regulator (
M3
), gradually increase supply pressure
to the pneumatic cylinder (
M4
) until lifting begins. Let the
hoist reach its maximum height.
