Operating manual

Tedder wagons OptiFEED

15

cover’s restraining device is mounted properly and will not be damaged anywhere or is not
too strained.

5.

Check if hydraulic hoses are mounted properly and are not too short.

6.

Inspect electrical connections.

7.

Make sure that the drive is properly mounted to the tractor.

8.

CAUTION: After few hours of work, all the screws need to be tightened again.

It  is  especially  important  to  tighten  the  screws  of  quick-rotational  parts,  the  auger’s,
transmission’s and wheels’. Tightening the screws again is essential after each repair.

9.

Check  tires’  pressure.  Check  if  all  the  elements,  especially  chain  drive,  are  properly

lubricated  and  if  the  oil’s  level  in  chain  drive  is  correct.  Rotational  parts  were  tested  in  a
factory and did not have any defects.

10.

Turn on the machine at low arbor’s revolutions. If there are no audible unnatural cracks or

beats, the machine’s revolutions may be increased.

11.

Machine should be turned on with tractor’s rear window open and without ear protection.

9.

MACHINE’S UTILIZATION

In order to prevent drive’s excessive wearing and overload, it is recommended

to prepare and distribute fodder in one cycle

WARNING!
DO NOT LEAVE MACHINE FILLED FULLY OVERNIGHT.

9.1.

LOADING

Chamber  should  never  be  filled  in  more  than  80%.  Otherwise,  mixing  capabilities  may

decrease.

Entire bales, not fragmented, cannot be loaded into the machine.

9.2.

ADVISABLE FODDER LOADING ORDER

Ingredients  of  the  highest  density  and  firmness  should  be  loaded  first.  Longer  ingredients,

i.e. straw, should be added when the machine is filled halfway to get fragmented before any other
ingredients will be added.

When machine is filed in 50-60%, the remaining fodder should be added at the whole length

of the machine. This way, the fodder will be mixed homogeneously quicker.

9.3.

MAXIMUM FODDER WAGON CAPACITY

In order to provide correct machine’s utilization, designed to mix and distribute fodder, and

in order to prevent possible damages, its capacity should not be exceeded. Maximum capacities of
fodder wagons are indicated in table below.
