Group Programming
Up to 99 groups
(the exact number is determined by memory allocation)
are available to
summarize PLU sales. Group totals appear on reports, so that you can track sales of
different types of items.
The group descriptors programmed here will replace the default descriptors
GROUP 1 through GROUP 99 that appear on reports.
Each PLU can report totals to one, two or three different groups. If a
PLU sends totals to more than one group, the group total that appears on
the Group report will not represent PLU sales. Therefore, you also have
the option of deciding whether each group's total will add to the group total
on the Group report.
To Program Groups
1.
At the

Enter the number of the group to be programmed, press the
CASH

key and the
↓
key to select menu and press the
CASH
key to
confirm. You can also select menu by
page
↑
key and
page
↓
key. Select the
Group option you wish to program.

Press the
↑
key for YES and the
↓
key for NO.
Press
CLEAR
to return to the GROUP PROGRAMMING screen. Continue
to program groups as necessary. Press
CLEAR
to return to the PROGRAM
MODE screen.
