Notes on safe operation
Daily operation

The appliance is for commercial use and may only be operated
−
by trained personnel,
−
with the Gastronorm container pushed into place,
−
if the appliance is supervised,
−
for the purpose designated in the instruction manual.

The appliance may only be operated outdoors if in a covered area and with sufficient wind
protection! Protect the appliance and the connection cable against moisture and wet!
D
Do not use the pan tub as storage or working surface!
D
Pan with water supply: Open the hinged top cover before letting water flow in.
D
The user is solely responsible for damage caused by use contrary to intended use.
D
If you cannot rectify malfunctions using page 34, chapter 5. ”Troubleshooting”, switch off the
appliance and notify customer services.
Risk of injury

The appliance must not be used for deep-frying!
D
Scalding hazard! Spraying hot edible oil or fat! Do not add water to heated edible oil or fat!
D
Scalding hazard! Sudden rising hot vapour! Proceed with the appropriate caution when
adding water to the heated frying surface!

Never allow water to run into the pan tub while preparing meals in deep fat or oil!
D
Caution - hot surfaces!
D
The appliance and the Gastronorm container are hot during operation!

Wear waterproof gloves to protect against burns when removing the Gastronorm container!
D
Do not reach into the drain opening while closing the drain tap.
D
Caution, hot steam exits on opening the hinged top cover!
D
Do not work under the top cover when closing the hinged top cover!
Fire safety
D
Approved fire extinguishers for cooking oil and fat fires must be available for fighting fires.
