Installation of built-in model
Refer to installation drawing on page 21.
Description of installation
ATTENTION: The unit must not be installed in a flamma-
ble environment.
Units can be installed in stainless steel or stone covering
up to 40 mm thickness.
Proceed as follows for installation:
1. Following the drawing, cut out the installation
openings for the unit and for the ventilation and drill
fixing holes.
2. Draw the control panel outwards, first through the
large opening and then through the small opening.
3. Position the two separately supplied side posts (1) at
the front and fix from inside with the 4 screws (2)
supplied.
4. Place the tank upside down on the table. Introduce
sufficient heat-resistant silicone or Pactan (3) into the
support profile for sealing.
5. Install the induction unit into the opening.
6. Place the two reinforcing rails (6) supplied over the
fixing bolts. Then fix with hexagon nuts (4) supplied.
7. Pull out air duct extension (8) and fix together with the
air inlet panel (7) at the front.
8. Make electrical connection to unit terminal.
9. Mount the control panel on the two side posts. First
suspend the top and then screw on at the bottom (5).

Initial operation
4.1
Assembly / Installation
The electrical connection must
be made by an expert.
The cookers are equipped with a cable for the mains
supply. They have to be connected to a wall socket. If no
plug is installed at the cable, do the connection accor-
ding to the information in “Definition of Interfaces” on
page 4. The installation for the electricity must be fittred
by approved installation contractors in accordance with
specific national and local regulations. The installation
contractors are responsible for the correct layout and
installation in conformity with all safety regulations. The
warning signs and specification plates put up to the
appliances must strictly be followed.
Check and ensure, that the mains voltage matches with
the voltage given on the specification plate.
The induction appliance has to be built in a clean and
even surface (table, counter, stove ) at his definite place.
Make attention that the requirements of chapter 3
“Installation” are fulfilled.
Turn the control knob in the OFF-position before
connecting the cooker to the mains supply.

The number that points to the indicator operation marks
the actual position of the control knob.

Before carrying out function checks, the operator must
know how to operate the cooker.
Your cooker is now positioned at it’s definite place and
connected with the voltage supply. Make sure that the
cooker is well installed and free from exposure to
vibration. The control knob is in OFF-position.
Remove all objects from the glass ceramic cooking
zone, verify if this area is neither cracked nor
broken. Don’t continue with use when the glass
ceramic cooking zone is cracked or broken,
immediately switch off and disconnect the cooker
from the outlet.
