The operating instruction must be
read by everyone who uses the
unit. It must be constantly availa-
ble at the place of work.
Proper use

Safety instructions
- The electrical connection must
be made by a trained electrician.
- The unit is approved only for
supervised operation.
- Do not clean the deep fat fryer
with a water jet.
- Do not put the deep fat fryer into
operation without fat or oil.
- Suitable equipment, for example
fire extinguishers or fixed extin-
guishing systems, must be
available for fighting a fat fire.
Danger information
- The surfaces of the unit and the
outlet valve are hot and there is
a danger of burns!
- If oil is replenished during opera-
tion, it is essential to add the
cold frying medium slowly and
carefully in order to avoid the
risk of splashing and burns.
- Spent, contaminated oil is more
readily ignitable and promotes
frothing.
- Frothing of the oil is increased
by introducing excessively large
amounts and food which is too
wet (e.g. ice crystals).
- The max. quantity of frying
goods is 0,8 kg per filling.
- The oil level must not fall below
the minimum mark.
- In the event of a fat or oil fire,
the cover of the unit should be
used for fighting the fire. In the
event of a fire, immediately pla-
ce the cover on the oil tank.
Then switch off the main switch
or pull out the plug.
- NEVER FIGHT AN OIL/FAT
FIRE WITH WATER!
- Never move the deep fat fryer
when it is hot.
- Allow the oil to cool before em-
ptying the tank - danger of
burns!
