Filling the water softener

Unscrew the water softener cap.

Confirm removal of the cap

Add approximately 0.5 kg regeneration salt.

The regeneration salt must be specially suited for water softening units and be quick dissol-
ving.

Replace the cap on the water softener.

Confirm closing of the softener

The control system measures the conductivity of the water (takes approximately 40 se-
conds):

If insufficient salt has been added, or if the salt has not dissolved sufficiently, a buzzer
sounds and the display shows

again

in this case, wait a while until the

salt has dissolved and repeat filling the water softener.

−

If the correct quantity has been added and the salt has dissolved, the display shows

and the regeneration process runs.

The remaining regeneration time is displayed.

Once the regeneration process is completed, the appliance switches itself off.

Repeating the regeneration process if ”Er 78” appears in the display

If the conductivity of the water is too high after regeneration, the display shows

There is still some salt in the softener.

Repeat the regeneration process (programme 99) without adding salt so that the salt re-
maining can be flushed out.
