5.2 Alarms

The HardyTest D400 offers the feature to set so called alarms. That means that the user may
set an value for the minimum hardness and for the maximum hardness of his measured
material. If the function is activated and the result should be below the minimum or above the
maximum, the D400 signals that the result is out of the tolerance limit by showing an
exclamation mark on the display.

Note
: Should the user change the unit in which he measures he will also have to adjust the
alarm settings towards that. The adjustments are always made in the currently selected unit.

5.3 Memory

This is an alternative way to get access to the memory settings mentioned in 4.3.

5.4 Language
!

Here you have the possibility to adjust the language of the operating system. You may
choose between German, Russian and English. It may be also possible to choose another
language if you should have ordered the HardyTest D400 with an additional language.

5.5 Configuration

!
In this section you will find options to adjust lightness (alternatively through the light button
adjustable) and the automatic shut down function.

5.6 Off

You may also shut down the gauge using this function provided in the main menu.
