With conventional steam ironing, water may leak from the soleplate if a very low temperature has
been selected. If this happens, turn the temperature control dial to the advised position; steaming will
recommence as soon as the appropriate temperature has been reached.
DRY IRONING
The iron can be used as a dry iron even if there is water in the tank. Do not put water in the water tank when
the iron is to be used as a dry iron for a few hours at a time.
1.
Adjust the temperature control dial to reflect the temperature indicated by the garment care instructions
and make sure the steam control button is in the “OFF” position. Insert the power cord into the wall

Note:
Please wait through 3 periods of the pilot light switching from “ON” to “OFF”.

Remove the iron from the base and begin using.
5.
When the iron is no longer hot enough, return it to the power base for re-charging. Continue to do this
throughout the ironing process.
6.
After ironing, please turn the Temperature Control Dial to the “MIN” position. Pull the plug out, stand
the iron upright, and wait until the soleplate has cooled down completely before packing away for
storage.
