CHAPTER 3 : INDICATOR HEAD UNIT

 Replacing the battery pack

1. 

Unscrew head unit from frame.

2. 

Undo the 4 screws on the plastic end covers.

3. 

Pull out the battery pack / display board.

4. 

Unplug battery connector from the PCB display board and replace with new battery pack.

5. 

Reassemble (check display is returned to its correct position).

Replacing the indicator head

The indicator is connected to a PCB board that is located on the front axial cover plate. To access the PCB, remove

the four plastic rivets that connect the cover plate to the trolley. To remove the PCB card, pinch the end of the two

plastic partition pillars and pull off the PCB.

1. 

Unscrew head unit from frame.

2. 

Unsolder the indicator wires at R, B, G and W on the PCB.

3. 

Unsolder the screen cable from the edge of the PCB.

4. 

Reassemble with replacement head and re-calibrate scale (see Chapter 5).

CHAPTER 4 : SETUP MODE

In setup mode you can set the following functions:

Weighing units 

kg, lb or oz (ON or OFF)

Auto shutoff

120, 180, 240, 300 or OFF (all times in seconds)

Calibration weight

25kg, 50kg, 100kg, 150kg, 25lb, 50lb, 150lb, 300lb

4.1  Function setup

1. 

Press and hold the TARE key until display shows SET.

2. 

Release TARE key, display shows UNIT.

3. 

Press UNIT key to select an option

4. 

Press NET/GROS key to enter an option and to save.

5. 

To exit setup mode, when display shows END, press NET/GROSS key
