wireless microphone set
MVN 100
This professional wireless microphone
set uses 2 different static-less frequencies
at the same time. The set includes a clip-on
microphone with a separate transmitter and a
handheld microphone with a built-in transmitter. It is
also possible to purchase a behind-the-head
microphone (MVN 102T) that can be connected to the clip-
on microphone's transmitter. The advantage of this type is that
the microphone remains constantly in front of the speaker's mouth,
ensuring stable quality even when the user is moving his/her head.
The sets come tuned to several different pairs of frequencies. In case
you need to use more than one set within the same transmission range (100
meters), make sure the sets' transmission frequencies are different when
purchasing them. The frequency used is indicated on every transmitter and
receiver and their packaging.
The aluminum case contains:
- a clip-on microphone
- transmitter for the clip-on microphone (MVN 100TR)
- handheld microphone with built-in transmitter (MVN 100HM)
- dual channel receiver (MVN 100)
- 2 rod antennas for the receiver
- network adaptor for the receiver (230 VAC / 13.5 VDC)
- 2 audio cables with
Ć
6.3 mm plug
- 4 AA (1.5 V) batteries for the transmitters
- available separately: clip-on microphone (MVN 101T), behind-the-head
microphone (MVN 102T)
Installing the receiver
1. Put the device on a flat surface. Holding on to the rugged metal ring, screw the
two antennas in place (ANTENNA.A, ANTENNA.B), then set them in a vertical
position.
2. Connect the output to an audio mixer or amplifier (not included). Depending
on the external device you can use either the
Ć
6.3 mm or the 3-pole sockets.
OUT.A: Output of channel A
OUT.B: Output of channel B
OUT.MIX: A+B mixed output
3. Plug the adaptor into a power outlet and connect the output plug to the receiver
(DC INPUT).
4. Make sure that the volume controls (VOLUME.A, VOLUME.B) are set to the
minimum level.
5. Turn on the receiver (ON). The indicators on the front panel reflect the status
of the system:
POWER: switched on, ready to receive
AF: level of the audio signal
RF: radio frequency reception (microphone within range)
6. Turn on the external amplifier and set its volume to the medium level, then
carefully start to turn the volume controls on the receiver clockwise.
When finished using the set, switch off the receiver and unplug the network
adaptor.
Installing the handheld microphone
1. Press the middle rugged part of the case to slide down and remove the battery
lid.
2. Insert two type AA (1.5V) alkaloid batteries with the indicated polarity, and close
the battery cover.
3. Turn on the microphone (ON). The red LED above the switch will flash for a
moment and transmission will start. (The RF indicator on the receiver is lit up.) It
the red indicator on the case is lit constantly you need to replace the exhausted
batteries.
4. When finished using it, switch off the microphone.
Using the clip-on microphone
1. Press the rugged arrow to slide the battery lid sideways and open it.
1. Press the rugged arrow to slide the battery lid sideways and open it.
2. Insert two type AA (1.5V) alkaloid batteries with the indicated polarity, and close
the battery cover.
3. Connect the clip-on microphone to the INPUT socket. Fully insert the
Ć
3.5 mm
plug and turn it clockwise until it stops. This safety solution prevents the
microphone's plug from being disconnected while the microphone is in use.
4. Turn on the microphone (ON). The red LOW BATT LED will flash for a moment
and transmission will start. If the indicator is lit constantly you need to replace the
exhausted batteries.
5. When finished using it, switch off the transmitter.
The best location for the clip-on microphone is on your shirt's collar, as close to your
mouth as possible. By turning the head away from your mouth you can decrease
the volume. Put the transmitter in your pocket or clip it onto your belt.
In case of necessity, sensitivity can be modified with a screwdriver, by careful
setting of the GAIN regulator on the side of the device.

Warnings
Do not cover the receiver and the network adaptor because these contain parts
that produce heat.
All devices are for use only in a dry environment.
Protect the devices from dust, humidity, water and direct heat.
Do not drop the devices and protect them from shocks.
It is recommended to store the microphone set at room temperature.
Clean with a dry, soft cloth. Never use aggressive detergents for cleaning.
Only long-life alkaloid batteries are recommended. Do not mix old and new
batteries, or batteries of a different brand. Rechargeable batteries are not
recommended.
Before storing the devices for a longer period of time, always remove the batteries;
before starting to use again, check the batteries first.
Make sure not to bend the cables in a shard angle and not to damage them.
Do not place the microphone close to speakers as that can cause howling.
If possible, do not place the units close to large metal objects.
Take special care that there are no metal objects or surfaces between the
microphone and the receiver.
When using the microphone, do not hold it at the bottom part as that can shield the
built-in antenna, limiting the transmission range or making the signal noisy.
The electromagnetic field of other devices can interfere with the wireless
microphone. Do not use it close to other electric devices.
In the case of any malfunction, unplug the receiver immediately, and consult a
technician.
Do not dismantle or tamper with the devices.
Only use the included network adaptor.
Do not use microphones with the same transmission frequency within the
same area (ca. 100 m).
The device's radio parameters have been designed for use in EU
countries.
