5.3. FUEL AND OIL
IMPORTANT: The fuel used for this machine is highly flammable. If the fuel or machine ignites,
extinguish the fire with a dry powder extinguisher.
Gasoline and oil are extremely flammable and explosive under certain conditions. Do not smoke
and do not bring flames, sparks or heat sources close to the machine.
Use unleaded 95 octane gasoline. Do not use fuel that has been stored for more than 2 months.
Fuel stored too long will make it more difficult to start the machine and will result in unsatisfactory
engine performance. If the fuel has been in the tank of the machine more than two months,
remove it from the machine and replace it with one in perfect condition.
5.3.1 FILLING THE FUEL DEPOSIT
-Choose a suitable area to perform this operation.
-Remove the cap from the fuel tank and refill with fuel.
-Close the cap of the fuel tank tightly and remove all fuel that may have been spilled on the outside
with a dry cloth.
WARNINGS:
Stop the engine before refueling. Do not start the machine in an enclosed room or enclosure.
Exhaust fumes, fuel vapors, and oil contain carbon monoxide and hazardous chemicals. In case
of a gas concentration caused by insufficient ventilation, remove from the work area.
Everything that prevents the flow of clean air to improve ventilation and do not return to work in
the area unless you have properly ventilated the area and are clear that ventilation is sufficient so
that this concentration does not occur again.
Do not refuel in places where flames, sparks or intense sources of heat are present. Always refill
the tank in well-ventilated areas with the engine stopped. Do not overflow the fuel by trying to
overfill the fuel tank. In case of fuel leakage be sure to eliminate these leaks completely before
starting, move the machine away from the spill area and avoid any source of ignition until the
vapors have dissipated.
Separate at least 3 meters from the area where you have refueled before starting the machine.
Add fuel before starting the machine.
Never remove the fuel cap while the engine is running or when the machine is hot.
Do not use fuels such as ethanol or methanol. These fuels will damage the machine's engine.
5.3.2. ENGINE OIL
The engine of your machine comes from the factory without oil for transport reasons. Before
starting the engine for the first time, the engine must be oiled. This engine uses quality oil for 4-
stroke engines, viscosity 20W-40.
