Remember that the machine operator is responsible for hazards and accidents caused to other
people or things. The manufacturer shall in no case be liable for damage caused by improper or
incorrect use of this machine.
The cutting tool is very sharp. Failure to follow instructions can cause severe damage. Keep this
machine. Check that moving parts are not misaligned or locked, that there are no broken parts or
other conditions that may affect the operation of this machine. Whenever this machine is damaged
repair it before use. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained machines.
Before each use check the following:
- Loose screws and nuts.
- Damaged rubber flaps of the inlet tube (change them in case they are worn or damaged).
- Oil level in the engine.
- Damage to the body and / or defective welded parts.
- Defective or damaged wiring.
Make sure the machine has passed the proper maintenance checks. Any damage resulting from
the use of defective, worn or non-original parts exempts the manufacturer from all liability.
Keep face and body as far away from the inlet tube as possible. While you are putting firewood
into the machine, keep your feet at the same level as the bottom of the wheels.
Never repair the machine before you have turned the switch OFF and removed the pipe from the
spark plug.
Never tilt the machine while the engine is still running.
Replace caution signs if they are damaged or not legible enough.
Turn off the machine, disconnect the spark plug and make sure the blade is stopped before
making any adjustments, fueling, nozzle unlocking, cleaning, transporting or storing this machine.
Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of accidentally starting this machine.
Stop the engine every time you leave the machine.
Reduce the engine speed when you are going to turn off the engine, if the engine is equipped
with a fuel shut-off valve, cut off the fuel when the engine has stopped.
2.6 SERVICE
Have your machine checked regularly by a qualified repair service using only identical spare parts.
