Cleaning:
It is recommended to clean any slurry, dust build up, and other debris from the machine after each
usage. Use soap, water, and brush to clean taking care not to get water into any electrical
component. The unit can be pressure washed however do not pressure wash any electrical
component or motor in addition take care when pressure washing any decals as too high of pressure
can remove the decal from the machine and is not covered under any warranty. If water gets into any
of the electrical components or motor allow the unit to completely dry before connecting to any
electrical supply as a short may occur if water is present.
BBM158 Belts
The BBM158 Blockbuster Mini Masonry Saw has a high torque induction motor which utilizes a V-belt
drive system to provide power to the blade shaft and to ensure the correct blade shaft RPM for the
best in cutting performance.
For Best Performance:

Replacing V-belt:

The belt should be properly tensioned

The motor should be fastened securely

The pulleys should be aligned
1. Unplug the saw.
2. Remove the belt guard (see Figure 5-1: Tensioning Bolt and Belt Guard).
3. Remove the shield located underneath the cutting head (see Figure 5-2: Underside Shield
Location).
