AUC Alarm time interval (AUC Alarm)
This feature is used for “Slave” transceivers. If the “Slave” transceivers do not
receive the signal coming from “Master” transceiver, a continuous beep alarm
tone (“AUC Alarm”) will sound based on the time interval to indicate this. In this
case, “Slave” users are advised to return back to the effective communication
range.
Press
[MENU] key, then press [MENU] again to enter into first-layer menu. Press
key to select group “ADDITION”, press [MENU] to confirm and enter
into second-layer menu. Press key to select item “AUC Alarm”, press
[MENU] to enter. Press key to select the desired alarm time interval.
Press [MENU] to confirm and exit.
Automatic power off (APO)
The APO feature helps conserve battery lift by automatically turning the
transceiver off after a preset period of time within which there has been no
operation to the transceiver.
The
available selections for the time before power-off are:
10m/20m/30m/1h/2h…..12h, as well as APO OFF.
Press
[MENU] key, then press [MENU] again to enter into first-layer menu. Press
key to select group “ADDITION”, press [MENU] to confirm and enter
into second-layer menu. Press key to select item “APO”, press [MENU]
to enter. Press key to select the desired APO time period. Press
[MENU] to confirm and exit.
Reset
There are two ways of reset: VFO and ALL.
VFO: All the menu functions setting will be resumed to factory default setting.
ALL: All transceiver’s setting will be resumed to factory default setting.
Press
[MENU] key, then press [MENU] again to enter into first-layer menu. Press
key to select group “ADDITION”, press [MENU] to confirm and enter
into second-layer menu. Press key to select item “Reset”, press
[MENU] to enter. Press key to select the VFO/ALL reset. Press [MENU]
to confirm. The transceiver will go back to standby mode after reset.
