Insert the wound bobbin into the bobbin case
( Figure 59 ).
The thread tail should remain outside of the
case and be passed through the slot in the side
of the case ( Figure 60 ).
Pull the thread under the tension spring
( Figure 61 ).
As you are holding the case with a view of the
bobbin, the bobbin should turn clockwise when
pulling on the thread tail ( Figure 62 ). If it is not,
take the bobbin out and flip it over.
Now refer back to “Removing and Installing the
Bobbin Case” page 31 to put the bobbin case
back in the machine.
