CENTRAL TRANSMITTING ANTENNA INSTALLATION
Step #1: Run the 22’ coaxial antenna to the predetermined locations within
the establishment. A standard 8’ step ladder, staple gun for coax
and six 4” zip ties will be required. This antenna will already be
connected to the transmitter.
Step #2: Mount the last 80” of the 22’ coaxial antenna horizontally. This is the
part that transmits the signal. Keep clear of AC power line,
fluorescent lights, NEON lights and other devices that may transmit
electrical noise. (Walls ceilings and other obstacles that might
cause interference) The antenna will work best went installed close
to the intended receivers. The antenna should be kept away from
metal. In some cases, the antenna should be slight adjusted such
as a 45 degree bend in the last 3 feet to improve coverage. The
antenna can be attached to a wall without metal studs, or in a
common commercial drop ceiling. Special care some be take to
insure the coax cable will not be damaged over time by rubbing on
sharp surfaces.
