WAP
WAP (Wireless Application Protocol): a protocol that translates the Internet language into WML and HTML languages that
can be read by a phone. The WAP function allows you to log onto certain Internet sites. You can log onto sites that allow you
to download ringtones, icons, animated screensavers, Java™ applications, videos and games to your phone.
The WAP Menu
Home page
: logs onto the home page (carries the name of your access provider).
Go to URL
: this menu allows you to input an Internet address directly .
Bookmarks
: allows you to store bookmarks (addresses of Internet sites).
A bookmark stored in the list can be modified, sent or deleted.
You can receive bookmarks and add them to this list.
Saved pages
: allows you to display the pages saved on Internet sites out of
connection (Warning: these pages will not be updated).
History
: backward and forward navigation of the pages displayed are kept in
memory.

WAP Logging on
The connection to a WAP service on the GPRS network is not terminated if an incoming call is received. You can answer the
call.
If you are logging onto the GSM or GPRS network, the @ symbol flashes, the metering of the cost of the call starts as soon
as it stops flashing.
