Install Rearward Facing - Group 0+ / 1 (Birth to 18kg)
WARNING: Never use the child seat rearward facing on a vehicle seat equipped
with a front airbag.
1 - For Group 0+ / 1 (rearward facing install), the child seat must only be used in
the most reclined position (Fig.1).
2 - To adjust the reclining position of the child seat, pull the red handle at the
front of the seat upwards and adjust the seat to the most reclined position.
3 - Place the child seat on the vehicle seat in a rearward facing position (Fig.2).
4 - Pull the vehicle seat belt out and guide it around the back of the seat (Fig.3).
5 - Clip the buckle in and thread the Lapbelt section of the seat belt over the Belt
Route Guides on both sides of the child seat (Fig.4).
6 - Guide the Diagonal belt section through both the Diagonal Belt Guides at the
back of the child seat (Fig.5).
7 - Remove any slack from the seat belt by pulling the diagonal belt upwards
(Fig.6).
USING THE RED LOCK-OFF CLIP:
The Red Lock-off Clip is used to hold the base part of the child seat nice and
tight against the vehicle seat.
Pull the Diagonal belt as hard as you can, which tightens the lapbelt section,
then place the Red Lock-Off Clip over the Diagonal belt close to the buckle.
Do not place it over both belts.
