Never use a generator as a power source for the Emergency-plug. Always use the
recommended battery type as the power source for the Emergency-plug.

CAUTION
Electrocution hazard!
•
Do not use the Emergency-plug when damaged or defective. If the Emergency-plug is
damaged or defective, contact your supplier.
•
Never disassemble, repair, isolate or modify the Emergency-plug yourself. For maintenance
and repair, contact a service point approved by Total Safety Solutions.
•
Do not insert any objects into the openings of the Emergency-plug. There is a danger of
electrocution when inserting objects into external openings.
NOTICE
•
Do not drop the Emergency-plug and avoid impacts. Excessive vibration may cause loose
connections, which may adversely affect the proper operation of the Emergency-plug.
•
Always check the Emergency-plug for damage before use.
•
Do not transport, use or store the Emergency-plug outside a temperature range of -20°C to
+50°C.
•
Do not use rechargeable or Lithium batteries in the Emergency-plug. The battery life of the
Emergency-plug cannot be guaranteed when using non-recommended battery types.
•
Always ensure that the plus (+) and minus (-) markings on the battery match the plus (+) and
minus (-) markings in the Emergency-plug when inserting the batteries.
•
Do not use harsh chemical cleaning agents to clean the Emergency-plug. Always use a soft,
damp cloth to clean the Emergency-plug.
