Check Belt tightness
Grasp the child restraint at the
belt path with one hand.
Push
and pull the child restraint from
side to side, forward and back.
The child restraint should not
move more than 1 inch.
NOTE:
If it moves more than 1
inch, redo the steps 5 through 10
again or try another seating location.
Follow the directions in section E-2 to attach the tether to complete
the installation.
Remove the locking clip when the seat belt is not being used with
a child restraint.
