Reinstalling the child restraint.

Changing to a different seating location.

Switching to the lower anchor belt installation if lower anchors
are available in your vehicle.

Check Belt Tightness
Hold child restraint at the belt
path with your weaker hand.
Push and pull from side to side.
It should not move more than
1 in.
(2.5 cm).

Remove Lower Anchor Belt
from Storage Location
Remove it from the rear-facing
belt path so both hooks are on
the same side of the seat.
Do not use the lower anchors of the child restraint
anchorage system (LATCH system) to attach this child
restraint when restraining a child weighing more than
40 lbs (18 kg).
