DH4C Installation

Installing the DVR

The DVR typically ships with the locking front cover and mounting plate off, but in the shipping box.

To install the DVR:

1. Slide the SD card slot door up.

2. Slide an SD card into the slot:

• Ensure the metal contacts on the card

are facing down.

• Gently push the card into the slot until it

clicks.

3. Slide the SD card slot door down until it

clicks.

4. Insert the key into the SD card lock and

rotate a quarter turn to lock the drive.

5. Select an appropriate mounting location and

orientation. For more information, see

Installation Requirements

6. Fasten the DVR to the mounting surface with

the four self-drilling screws.

7. Connect the necessary cables and

components. For more information, find the

DH4C Quick Installation Guide

on the Safe

Fleet Community,

and read the section

DH4C

Operation

in this document.



IMPORTANT

Ensure you lock the SD card, or data will not be saved on the card. The SD LED on the DVR front panel glows green when

the card is locked in place.
