Pop rivet gun
Loctite 243 (thread lock)
Prior to commencing the installation, it is the installer’s responsibility to verify that
all components and particular the template (item 18) are correct.
Instructions:
1.
Remove right hand front wheel arch liner and air cleaner assembly.
2.
Tape template on upper rear corner of right hand guard. Using a felt
pen mark all hole positions. Cut main hole to 83mm using the holesaw.
Drill the remaining holes to 16mm using the step drill.
3.
To cut the inner hole. Measure back from the radiator support panel
275mm then down 43mm from the underside of the guard mounting
flange (as per drawing) mark hole center and recheck measurements.
Drill a 4mm pilot hole, then using the 83mm holesaw to cut the hole.
4.
De-burr and paint all holes to prevent rust.
5.
Place item 19 (inner panel plate) onto inner guard and line up the main
hole to the new 83mm hole. Mark the 6 mounting holes and drill to
4mm. Pop rivet plate into position.
