Alarm Port
The alarm port is an optional feature.
The alarm port comprises:

The set of
outputs
of relay switches for the CFM site supervision, the outputs are:
•
Power Alarm, - warns about any problems with DC power supply of the CFM
site;
•
Synch Lost (SL) alarm, - this alarm triggers if multiplexer frame synchronization
is lost;
•
Radio Alarm (RA), - warns about the problem with ODU and/or IDU-ODU
cable and/or received signal level is too low;
•
TxPLL Alarm, - Tx Phase-locked Loop failure;

The set of user
inputs
, these inputs are used to connect an external device that requires to be
supervised.
The alarm port inputs and outputs can be supervised via SNMP manager and/or Web console.
The alarm port has a DB25 type connector and is located on the rear panel of the IDU.
