Convection air channels
The SAEY inset fires are fitted with two warm air apertures, which allow the warm air to be directed to adjoining
rooms.
The convection air channels can be connected by means of 2 collars (425.1000.000). The 2 covers on the top of the
appliance must first be removed, after which the 2 collars can be fixed to the construction.
To reduce thermal losses it’s recommended to insulate the convection air channels. Also bear in mind that horizontal
channels and elbows slow down the heat flow rate.
NOTE
At least one of the hot air outlet grills must remain permanently open.
The amount of warm air that is directed to adjoining rooms can be controlled by a damper. Remove the screw in the
top to enable the damper to be operated.
