6.2.
Slow Heating
Trise
is the time that the unit will take to ramp the voltage up from 0 to Vset. Factory default is 15’.
If activation starts at room temperature and in general each time when possible, it is recommended
to use always a long Trise to heat the pump gradually. When supply start at an already high
temperature or in case fast heating is needed it is possible to reduce Trise down to 0 (in this case
Vset will be reached in a few seconds).
Once Vset is reached, Vset voltage is kept for Thold.
6.3.
Heating without automatic stop
Some applications require special getter pumps (HV) that work when the getter material is
hot. NEG POWER MINI can be used to keep these pumps hot giving them the necessary
power continuously. To do this, t_hold =

is used.

is the same as to put it = 0).
When t_hold =

the power supply is only stopped by pressing the stop button.
t_hold = --- (not set) can also be used with standard NEG pumps when the pump need
heating for a very long time.
