Remove the “” water
fi
lter from the water tank if it was instal-
led.

Remove the water tank and pour the entire content of the Saeco decal-
ci
fi
er. Then
fi
ll the water tank with fresh water up to the MAX level.

Place the water tank back into the machine.

Place a large container (1,5 lt) under both the steam/hot water wand
and the dispensing spout.

Press and hold the “
” for 3 seconds. When the button starts
fl
ashing, release it to start the cycle. The “
” button
fl
ashes during
the whole descaling cycle.
Note:
If you press the “
” button by mistake, press the “ ” button to quit.

The machine starts dispensing the descaling solution through the
steam/hot water wand (the “
” button
fl
ashes) and the dispensing
spout (the “
” button
fl
ashes).
Note:
The descaling cycle may be paused by pressing the “
” button. To
resume the cycle, press the “
” button again. This allows you to empty
the container or to stay away from the machine for a brief period of time.

When the descaling solution is

nished, the “ ” light turns on and the
