Disconnect the HT lead from
the spark plug. Check that the
machine is not damaged. Repair
any damage
• If anything jams in the tubes
while you are working, switch
off the engine and wait until it
has stopped completely before
cleaning the blades. Disconnect
the HT lead from the spark plug.
• Only operate the product at
reasonable hours - not early
in the morning, late at night or
on weekends/public holidays
when people might be disturbed.
Inform yourself about local
restrictions.
WHILE OPERATING
WARNING!
These machines are extremely noisy
and require the use of ear protection
to prevent damage to the ears.
• To reduce the risk of hearing
loss associated with sound
levels, hearing protection
is required. To reduce the
risk of injury associated with
thrown objects, always wear
eye protection. Eye protection
should meet the requirements
of EN 15503. To reduce the risk
of injury associated with the
inhalation of dust, use a face
filter mask in dusty conditions.
• Wear heavy long pants, boots,
gloves and a long sleeve shirt.
Do not wear loose clothing,
jewelry, short pants, sandals or
go barefoot. Secure hair above
shoulder level.
• Use the unit only in daylight or
good artificial light.
• Avoid accidental starting. Be in
the starting position whenever
pulling the starter rope. The
operator and unit must be in a
stable position while starting.

• Use the right tool. Only use this
tool for its intended purpose.
• Never start or run the unit inside
a closed room or building;
breathing exhaust fumes can kill.
• Always hold the unit with both
hands when operating. Keep
a firm grip on both handles or
grips.
• Do not overreach. Keep all parts
of your body away from hot
surfaces. Always keep proper
footing and balance. Take extra
care when working on stairs,
steep slopes or inclines. To
