SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
•
Keep body parts away from the blade. Do not remove cuttings or hold objects that you are cutting while the blades are moving. The blades continue to turn after the device
is switched off. Make sure that the switch is turned off when you are removing any lodged material. Even a momentary lapse of attention when using the hedge trimmer can
result in serious injuries.
•
Hold the hedge trimmer by the handle and when the cutting blades are at rest. Always use the blade cover when transporting or storing the hedge trimmer. Correctly
handling the hedge trimmer reduces possible injuries from the cutter.
•
Hold the tool only by the insulated parts of the handle because the cutting blade could come into contact with hidden power cables. If the cutter touches or cuts a live cable,
metal parts of the power tool can become live and expose the user to an electric shock.
•
Keep cable away from cutting area. During use, the cable could become hidden by branches and be accidentally cut by the blade.
•
Use both hands when using the hedge trimmer. Use of the device with only one hand can lead to loss of control and cause serious injuries.
•
DANGER – Keep hands and feet away from blade. Contact with the blade will cause serious injuries.
•
WARNING – Use the hedge trimmer only with properly fitted handle and protective cover. Using the hedge trimmer without the handle or the provided protective cover can
lead to serious injuries.
