try to repair them! ALWAYS USE MANUFACTURER'S GENUINE REPLACE-
MENT BLADES BEARING THE SYMBOL
!
The blades differ and are contra-rotating. When installing
them, make sure that they are correctly positioned by referring to the code
number marked on the outside of each one.
When
assembling the blade,
always follow the instruc-
tions given, making sure
the blade wings are facing
towards the inside of the
cutting deck and the
cupped side of the elastic disc (1) is
pressing against the blade. Tighten
the fixing screws (2) using a torque
wrench set to 45-50 Nm. If one or
both shaft hubs (3) come off when
dismantling the blades, make sure the keys (4) are securely lodged in
place.
Vertical positioning
Vertical positioning is
best accomplished by more then one
person and should only be done on a
hard level surface.
If you need to get to underneath the lawn-
tractor, it is possible to lift it up into a vertical
position after having removed the grass-
catcher or stone-guard, and having made
sure that there is less than 2 litres of fuel in
the tank. Make sure that the machine rests
on the indicated points, inserting a wedge
(1) of about 120 mm beneath the lower edge
of the plate and taking care to not damage
plastic parts and the supports for the grass-catcher.
Be sure of the good stability of the lawn-tractor before
carrying out any type of work on the machine and avoid operations which
may cause it to fall over.
