The extracted filter is ready to be cleaned or washed.
Filter containment frame cleaning
Use a hoover and a soft brush to clean the filter con-
tainment frame.
Take great care not to damage the tungsten
wires.

Immersion cleaning of the filter pack
Materials and PPE required for cleaning the
filter pack

Plastic or stainless steel tray of appropriate size. A
3 to 5 cm rise inside the tray is recommended to
allow dirt to settle

Presence of a steam line or producer (max. 100
°C) or alternatively a high-pressure cleaner
(only
steam or high-pressure cleaner)

detergent suitable for the type of pollutant treat-
ed in filtration respecting the safety data sheet
(recommended NALCo 74231)

Gloves, mask and goggles

Water for rinsing the filter cell
(immersion wash-
ing only)
Immersion cleaning
•
Place the filtering cell in the tray previously filled
with a solution of cold water and detergent ac-
cording to the dilution indicated in the detergent
technical data sheet. If using NALCo 74231 as a
cleaning agent, dilute 30 ml per litre of water.
