Alarm Indication 

The  Mode  Switch  has  a  red  LED  which  indicates  alarms  that  are  so  severe  that  the 
transponder  cannot  fulfill  its  main  functions.  The  following  alarms  will  trigger  the  red 
LED to be lit:
