Automatic Equalization
You can select to automatically adapt your tone
settings for the tuned station or disc being
played.
• Press the tone control (7) to open the menu
for tone and speaker settings.
• Select Talk .
Switching on the radio
• Press the AUDIO button (8).
• Scroll to the desired preset page by pressing
the FAV button (1).
• Press the desired preset screen button (1-5).
Switching on the CD player
• Load a disc, or press the AUDIO button (8)
and select the CD tab if a disc is already
loaded.
Start the MP3 player
• Load a disc (or several discs), or press the
AUDIO button (8) and select the CD tab if a
disc is already loaded.
Radio
Selecting a frequency band
• Select AM , FM or XM

or press the AUDIO
button (8) repeatedly until the desired
frequency band is selected.
Automatic tuning
• Press one of the SEEK buttons (10 or 11). The
radio searches the frequency band and stops
at the closest strong station.
Manual tuning
• Turn the tone control knob (7). Release the
knob to stop at the required frequency.
Manually storing a station
• Press the FAV button (1) until you come to the
preset page (1-3) at which the station is to be
stored.
• Press and hold the preset screen button (1-5)
at which the station is to be stored depressed
for more than 2 seconds. A chime sounds
when the storing is complete.
Presets
• Scroll to the desired preset page by pressing
the FAV button (1).
• Press the desired preset screen button (1-5).
You can also press the steering wheel buttons,
or to select another preset station.
