Turning failure -
If the lift will not turn electronically, remove the housing cover and locate the toggle
clamp (red handle). Pull upward on the handle and rotate until the handle is horizontal. With the handle in
the horizontal position, pull on the handle to rotate the assembly in the clockwise direction. This will
disengage the gears and allow the lift to be turned manually. Follow the proceeding process in reverse to
reengage the gear assembly.
If the aXs will be used by a disabled person living on their own, a communication device should
be installed in the area of use to call for assistance in the event of an emergency.
