3.4 Description of components
Drive unit The partial vacuum in the wet separator is generated by
2 single-phase AC blowers.
Liquid container
The liquid container (8) (max. capacity 7 ltr) is located at the rear of
the wet separator. The liquid container can be removed for filling
and emptying. A trolley (1) (additional equipment) can be used for
transporting the liquid container.
The liquid container has a viewing window for checking the fill
level. The liquid container contains the swirl filter (2), the dip tube
(7), the handle (6) for removing the swirl filter, together with the
deflection plate (4) and the moisture separator (5). At the top of the
dip tube (7) there is the outlet (3) to the unfiltered gas connection.
The fill level of the liquid container is monitored by a capacitive fill
level sensor. If the level falls below the minimum fill level, after a
delay of 3 sec the controls switch off the wet separator and an
error message appears in the display. The fill level can be checked
visually at the viewing window of the liquid container.
Swirl filter
The swirl filter is located in the liquid container. The swirl filter
ensures turbulent mixing between the vacuumed up material and
the sealing liquid and thus ensures a better separation of the
vacuumed up material. The swirl filter and the dip tube are held in
position within the liquid container by means of the handle.
